Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership have linked with Cycling Ireland in the build up to the Sport Ireland Yeats Tour of Sligo on 30th April 2017 to offer Sligo CTC an opportunity to deliver a Cycling Initiative for teenagers. This initiative aims to encourage teenagers to cycle more often and to take on the challenge of completing the 60km distance in the Yeats Tour of Sligo.
Yesterday William Britton and Aideen brought a group of 10 trainees from Lads Active for a 1 hour cycle down the Back Avenue, Doorly Park and around the track. He provided bikes and helmets for the trainees. This was an enjoyable and wet experience!! A few puddles along the way……. Well done to all the lads that took part and we look forward to next week’s challenge!
