Lisa, computer tutor recently attended a Filmmaking with young people workshop delivered by Tom from Young Irish Film Makers.  This workshop developed basic, practical and creative skills in film making when working with young people in youth work settings. This workshop explored a range of skills required to deliver a film making programme such as digital video shooting, storyboarding, effects, approaches, all while maintaining a youth work centred approach. We were very grateful to receive equipment for the centre to make a film or video content and this week the computer group had great fun making a short film. Thanks to Nessa Cosgrove, Local Creative Youth Partnership Coordinator MSLETB for organising this training.  It was very interesting and we will put the equipment to great use in the centre!
